Hi Brand, SIA Pilot 6 Group,    (01)

I have attached an amended proposal for the 4th SOA for E-Government
Conference which I could do remotely without a demonstration, and
which could be used as intoductory material for participation in a
panel discussion on Event-Driven Architecture within the SOA and SIA
contexts. I have deleted the discussion of IPAWS and the OASIS SOA
Reference Model/Reference Architecture with the possibility of
including the Global Justice Reference Architecture due to what I
have heard about NIEM 2.0 in relation to the EDXL work of the EM TC.    (02)

I want to add one more caveat for Brand, the issues I deleted leave
this very bare and primarily serves as a placeholder in case I could
participate largely as a remote member of a panel discussion.
However, if things change, I would like to know if it is possible to
add some very important topics back into the mix, e.g.IPAWS and a
more advanced discussion of how to use EDXL-DE.    (03)

That said, if there are more focused proposals, it might be best for
us to aim for a later event to promote awareness of SOA in Emergency
Management.    (04)

Cheers,
Rex
